Letter #2

Hi mom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love you so much!! Oregon is AMAZING!!!! It is so incredibly green and moss grows everywhere!! I am in a place called Albany in the 3 Lakes Ward and the Lebanon Zone. Lebanon is where Trevor was just before transfers, he was transferred to Roseburg but I’m not really sure where that is. My zone leader Elder Tilley said that he went on an exchange with Trevor just a few weeks ago and talked for hours about us and just everything. It's nice to know that even though we can't stay in touch, others within the mission can keep us updated on each other as well as you and Janiece! My companion in Sister Francom from Santa Clara Utah! Small world, huh? We didn't know each other before so it's been fun getting to know her. We live in a 2 story apartment that has a balcony and a huge grassy backyard! My first tracting experience was a lot different than what I expected. I never knew how many churches/religions there were in the world, let alone one little area. I swear there is at least 15 different churches within like 4 blocks of where I live. It's insane! Oh!! President Young is absolutely great! I love him and Sister Young already! They are truly inspired and I can tell they truly care about each and every one of us missionaries. The work is really hard and sometimes I feel like I’m not strong enough to be serving a mission or it's not for me, especially when people slam doors in your face and tell you that they don't believe in God but they believe in Extra- Terrestrial things aka aliens. It makes me truly sad for them. But I just have to keep remembering that Heavenly Father has a plan for everyone and maybe they’re just not ready at this time to hear and accept the Gospel. But I do know that I am where I am supposed to be and I am so happy to be here! I don't really have much time but please tell everyone that I love them and that they are always in my prayers. I got your package of cookies at the MTC and they were super delicious! My roommates loved them too! I haven't gotten a package from chelsie yet but if you guys send anything else please send it to the mission home address. 55 West 29th Ave., Ste A Eugene Oregon 97405. I am so glad that you are keeping in contact with Janiece, please continue to do so and let me know if there are any updates on how Trevor is doing! Please forward this e-mail to my dad. I don't have much time to e-mail everyone but I will try next week. I love everyone so so so much and hope you are all doing well!

P.S. Sorry about the call at the airport.. the bus started smoking on the way to the airport so we got there late and our flight was pretty much boarding when we got there. I LOVE FLYING THOUGH!!! It is SOOO cool!

My apartment address is 2522 SE Main Street Albany Oregon 97322 but I don't know when transfers are so it would probably be best to just sent everything to the mission home so I don't miss it.
